Journal for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Ewing (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England, Ireland, and Scotland. Some settled in Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia between 1600-1776. Some settled in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, New York, Ohio, and Tennessee after 1776 and during the 1800s. Later descendants also lived in Nova Scotia (Canada), and in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.

The Clan Ewing in America was established in 1994. Its first two issues were published August and November 1994. Headquarters are in The Woodlands, Texas. For membership, names of immigrant ancestors who came to America before 1776, and other information, see their Web site.
