Description
Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Lively families who came mainly from England, Ireland, Russia (especially Latvia), and Scotland. In the 1700s, some immigrated to Georgia, Virginia, and West Virginia. During the 1800s, some moved to Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. Later descendants also lived in Ontario (Canada), and in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Utah, Washington D.C., Wisconsin, and elsewhere.

Issuing Body
The National Association of Lively Families (N.A.L.F.) was orgnized in 1937 for Lively families in America. Another branch was organized in 1988 at Manchester, England, called British Association of Lively Families (B.A.L.F.), which publishes its own newsletter.
