Description
Chiefly ancestral families, relatives and descendants of the author and his wife. Howard Morrison Rowe was born in 1919 at Evanston, Illinois, the son of Howard Francis Rowe (1888-1965) and Genevieve Lyman Morrison Rowe (1893-1976). His family moved to San Diego, California in 1923. He married Charlotte Fletcher Taylor in 1947 at San Diego. They had four children, 1948-1956. Charlotte Fletcher Taylor was born in 1921 at San Diego, California, the daughter of Benjamin Harrison Taylor (1891-1971) and Catherine Holton Fletcher Taylor (1897-1976). Children and grandchildren lived in California, Missouri, and New Mexico in 1995.
Description
Ancestors include: Thomas Roe/Rowe (d. 1751) of Ratona, County Fermanagh, Ireland -- James Winthrop Morrison (1832-1894) of New York and Chicago, Illinois -- Richard Lyman (1580-1640) of Ongar, County Essex, England; Roxbury, Massachusetts; and Hartford, Connecticut -- John Taylor (1639-1713) of England and Hadley, Massachusetts -- Robert Fletcher (1592-1677) of England and Concord, Massachusetts -- John Batchelder (ca. 1603-1647) of Canterbury, Kent, England; and Wenham, Massachusetts.
