Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of families whose names begin with Bander, Van, Vander, Vanden, Van't, Ver, and other variant spellings who may, or may not be related. Some came from Africa (especially Morocco), England, Flanders, Germany, the Netherlands, Scotland, and Sweden. Some immigrated to Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia in the 1600's. In the 1700's, some settled in Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, West Virginia. During the 1800's, some moved to Canada, and to Arkansas, California, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and Wisconsin. Later descendants also lived in Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Maine, Montant, Vermont, Washington, Wyoming, and elsewhere. Some are Missing In Action and Prisoners of War soldiers from the Viet Nam War.
