Description
Edward Wester was born in North Carolina in 1783. He married Elizabeth Yancy (possiblly his 2nd wife) in Greene County, Georgia on November 17, 1804. Their children were Axom (1800), John (1802), Eveline (1811), Lewis (1813), Williamson (1814), Booker (1815), Mary (Polly) (1823), Andrew J. (1825), Celia Barthenia (1830), Matilda (1832), and Nancy (1835). Edward died on August 8, 1852 in St. Clair County, Alabama and was buried in Wester Cemetery at Woods Bend in Ragland, Alabama. Elizabeth died on August 8, 1857.
