"Her name was Eleanor Louisa Baker Morgan, but Nellie liked her nickname. She signed all papers and letters Nellie B. Morgan as the wife of William Aston Morgan, who had taken her from the fertile San Saba County valley of Texas to eastern Kansas and then to Hodgeman County, Kansas ... "--P. 9. "Eleanor Louisa (Nellie) Baker was born 17 June 1866, in San Saba Co., Texas. She died 27 December 1927 in Burrton, Kansas. She married Hon. William Aston Morgan, 3 November 1887. He was born 3 November 1860, Calhoun Co., Michigan, and died 14 May 1943, Kinsley, Kansas. He is buried with his wife in Burrton, Kansas, cemetery"--P. 28. Descendants and relatives lived in Kansas, Texas, Kentucky, California, Tennessee, Washington (D.C.), Arizona, Maryland, Colorado and elsewhere.
