Description
The Sisk lineage is traced back to John Sisk (b. 1709 in Ireland/England). He had four sons, John (b. ca. 1737), Thomas (b. ca. 1738), Timothy (b. ca. 1740) and Robert (b. before 1750). Of these sons only John was born in Virginia; the others were born in North Carolina. The descendants of John Sisk (b. 1709) can be found through out the United States and include Sisk, Bowers, Davis, Dunn, Forehand, Guy, Honeycutt, McElrath, Rice, Rogers and related lines.
