Description
Robert Gustav Michaelis was born in Germany in 1859. His family were millers and he learned this trade. He married Ernestine Pauline Schmidt and they were the parents of two children before he came to America settling in Minnesota. He earned money so he could bring his family to America. After they joined him the family moved to the Dakotas before moving to Utah where the family joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Eventually his family grew to include twelve children. Information on many of their German lines is included in the first volume while the second volume includes his descendants. Descendants now live throughout the western United States and elsewhere.
Description
