Nils (Nicholas) Larsson, alias Friend was born about 1630 in Sweden. His father was names Lars. He married Annas Adersdotter in November 1656 in New Amsterdam, New York. She was born in Sweden around 1638, the daughter of Anders Andersson the Finn (1610-1673+) and Christina Goolbrandt. They had 10 children: Brigitta Nilsdotter, Andrew (Anders) Friend, Catherine (Carin) Nilsdotter, Anna Mary (Maria) Nilsdotter, John (Johannes) Nilsson alias Friend, Susanna Nilsdotter, Sarah Nilsdotter, Gabriel Nilsson, Lars (Lawrence) Nilsson, Barbara Nilsdotter. Nils died in Upland, Ridley Twp., Chester (now Delaware) County, Pennsylvania in 1686. Anna also died in Chester County in 1724. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, Ohio, New Jersey, Indiana, North Carolina, Missouri and elsewhere.
