Description
William Murty (1818-1881) was born in Pennsylvania. He married Ann Potter ca. 1836-37 in Danville, Columbia County, Pennsylvania. Ann (1818-1859) was born in England. William married (2) Minerva Gerry Malcom in 1864. He died in Tama County, Iowa. Descendants lived in Iowa, California, and elsewhere. Also includes information on the family of Edward Murty who was born in Vermont in 1831 and lived in Wisconsin, Iowa, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
