Description
Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Petty (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England. Ancestors immigrated to America from the 1600-1800's, and settled early in Massachusetts, North and South Carolina, and Virginia. In the 1700's, some also settled in Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia. During the 1800's, some moved to Canada, Mexico, and to Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, the Oklahoma Indian Territory, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin. Later families also lived in Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, and elsewhere.
