Description
William Farrington Cahoon was born 7 Nov. 1813 at Harpersfield, Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Reynolds Cahoon and Thirza Stiles. He married Nancy Miranda Gibbs on 17 Jan. 1836, the daughter of Aaron and Prudence Gibbs of Benson, Rutland, Vermont. They were the parents of 12 children. He married second on 23 Sept. 1845, Mary Wilson Dugdale Casson the daughter of William Dugdale and Elizabeth Wilson. She was the widow of James Casson whom she married in England. He died in Nauvoo. William Cahoon and Mary Casson Cahoon were the parents of 4 children. Descendants have lived in Utah, Idaho and Alberta, Canada.
