Description
Peter Starnes was born in South Carolina in 1781 but later moved to Alabama. He married Mary, who was the mother of Nancy, Margaret, Anna, Eleanor, Bazil and Peter. John Starnes was born in 1787 in South Carolina, the younger brother of Peter Starnes. He married three times. The name of John's first name is unknown, but she was the mother of seven of his children: Margaret, Phriba, Isham, William, John, Peter and Hannah. His second wife was Elizabeth Deupree Rainey, the mother of Thomas. Alternate spellings of Starnes include Stearns. Other localities include California, England, Florida, Virginia, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
