Description
Stephen Adams (1772-1845) married (1) Andasiah Hudson ca. 1794, daughter of Denni Hudson and Sarah Selby, (2) Elizabeth Shawver in 1832 in Highland County, Ohio. Stephen and Andasiah had moved to Ohio from Worcester, Maryland ca. 1813. Their son, John Adams (1806-1884), was born in Worcester County, Maryland. He married (1) Azuba Davis in 1825 in Warren County, Ohio, (2) Elsie Girton in 1864. Azuba (1802-1862) was born in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, daughter of Ebenezer and Elsey Davis. She and John moved to Dallas County, Iowa in 1859. Descendants lived in Iowa, Ohio, Montana, Kansas, Idaho, and elsewhere.
