Richard Waring, Sr., son of Christopher Waring and Alice Webb, married Elizabeth Ivett in 1640. They were living in Brookhaven, Long Island, New York by 1683. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Kentucky. .
