John Tyson lived in Northampton County, Virginia in 1664. His wife was named Susannika. Their children included Mathias, Anne and Katherine. John died in 1683. Descendants lived in Pitt County, North Carolina. One descendant, Mary Tyson married Benjamin May, the son of John and Mary Stafford May. Alternate spellings include Tice. Other localitites include Washington D.C., Ohio and South Carolina. .
