Description
Johann Adam Henning was born in about 1759 in Hesse, Germany. He was a Hessian rifleman in the Revolutionary War with Cornwallis' army. He deserted in 1781 and settled in North Carolina. He married Elizabeth in about 1786 and they had twelve children. He died in 1824 in Stokes County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina.
