Description
John Campbell was born in Scotland in 1674. He married Grissel Hay (1680-1777) in 1694. They had nine children. They emigrated and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They moved to Orange County, Virginia in 1730. John died in 1741. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, and Kansas.
