Jeffery Parsons, son of James Parsons and Alice Crossing, was baptized 1 August 1630 in Loddiswell, Devon, England. He emigrated when he was young and settled first in Barbados. He was living in Gloucester, Massachusetts by 1654. He married Sarah Vinson, daughter of William Vinson and Sarah, 11 November 1657. They had ten children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts.
