Description
William Atkin, III was born 23 March 1859 in Ashland, Pennsylvania. His parents were William Atkin, II and Rachel Thompson. He married Eliza Barnett (1861-1942), daughter of James Barnett and Mary Lacey, in 1893 in St. George, Utah. Thay had seven children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England and Utah.

Description
Matthew Talbot I, (1699-1758) immigrated to Maryland from England about 1720. In 1721, he married Mary Williston (d. 1736). They had two children in Maryland before migrating to Virginia. He married Minnie Jane Isham Clayton in 1737. Descendants lived also in North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, California and elsewhere.

Zadock Barnett lived in Pittsylvania County, Virginia and later was in Oglethorpe County, Georgia. He was also in Morgan County, Georgia where he died in 1823. Descendants lived in Georgia, Alabama, and elsewhere. Smith line is traced to Isaac A. Smith (1832-1908), son of Stephen and Nancy Smith of Fayette County, Alabama. He married Rachel Catherine Pennington in 1851. Both are buried in Franklin County, Alabama.

"The first known Ewell to land in America was Henry Ewell from County Kent, England. He landed at Scituate (Massachusetts) in 1634, part of the Pilgrim group that formed the Plymouth Colony. Henry settled in the town of Scituate, there married Sarah Annable and fathered eleven children." Descendants of Henry Ewell and other branches of the Ewell family lived in New England, New York, North Carolina, Illinois, Utah, and elsewhere.
