Description
Alfred Tate McCreay was born 14 August 1887 in St. Joseph, Missouri. His parents were Alfred Tate McCreay (1854-1926) and Rosanna Blackburn (1857-1938). He married Marian Christine Abel (1890-1980), daughter of William Henry Abel and Lucinda Christine Pond (1863-1951), 15 June 1912 in Kansas City, Missouri. They had four children. They lived in Boise, Idaho, Chicago, Illinois and California.

John Hollis (ca.1737-1832) immigrated about 1752 from England to Jamestown, Virginia, and settled in Rowan County, North Carolina, moving later to Rutherford County, Tennessee. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Arizona and elsewhere.
