George Abbott (1615-1681) was born in England and immigrated to America in 1640. He was one of the first settlers in Andover, Massachusetts. He married Hannah Chandler and they had twelve children. One of their many descendants was Stephen Abbott (1804- 1843). Descendants live in Utah.
