Abel Huse and his wife, Eleanor, were among the first settlers of Newbury, Massachusetts, arriving not later than 1635. Eleanor died in 1662 or 1663. He married 2) Mary Hilton Sears, a widow with two children, in 1663. They had eight children, 1664-1675. He died in 1690.
