Zola Lee Yardley was born 2 April 1922 in Peace Valley, Howell County, Missouri. Her parents were Earl Mahaffey Males (1892-1957) and Hallie Belle Rose (1893-1927). She married Jack Johnson Yardley (1923-1948) 3 December 1946 in Springfield, Greene, Missouri. They had two children. Ancestors and relatives have lived mainly in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio, Minnesota, Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Oregon....

William Arnold (b.1587) and his wife, Christiane, immigrated in 1636 to Boston, Massachusetts, and moved to Providence, Rhode Island with Rogers Williams in 1638. He had two sons, one of whom was Stephen Arnold (d.1699) whose wife was Sarah, and the other was Benedict (b.1615). Both sons moved to Rhode Island also. Roger Williams (ca.1604-1684), was born in London, the son of James and Alice Pemberton Williams. He married Mary Barnard (d. 1676) 1629 at the Church of High Laver, Essex, England. He and Mary arrived in Boston, Massachusetts in 1631. They were parents of six children, all born in America (in Plymouth, Salem, and at Providence).
