Louis John Paschell (1866-1941) a native of Munchen, Germany, immigrated to the United States, ca. 1887. He married Theresa Louise Weixeldorfer (1869-1946) in 1892 at Kansas City, Missouri. They had ten children, 1892-1910. The family moved from Kansas City to Mission, Johnson County, Kansas ca. 1900. Louis and Theresa are buried in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Shawnee, Kansas. Descendants lived in Kansas, Missouri, Texas and elsewhere.

According to tradition, Peter Acker (ca. 1730-1815) was born in Germany, and immigrated to America, ca. 1750 with his father, William Acker, and brother, William, settling in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
