Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the descendants of William Clark Davis and his wife, Mary Eliza Packer who were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Packer and Davis ancestors and descendants lived in Idaho and elsewhere in the United States.

Mihaly (Michael) Ackerman (1860-1939) married Elizabeth Mayer in 1884, and in 1907 the family emigrated from Hungary to Portland, Oregon, later moving to Mt. Angel, Oregon and after retirement, returning to Portland. Descendants lived in Oregon, Washington, California, South Dakota, Texas and elsewhere.

The Brown family traces its descent from Christopher Brown, of Hawkedom, Suffolk, England, and through him to the ancient family of Stamford, in Lincolnshire. One of Christopher Brown's descendants was John Brown (b. 1601) who was born in Hawkedom and immigrated to America in 1637. He and his brother, Edmund, settled in Dudbury, Massachusetts. John Parker (d.ca.1774) was living in Lunenburg County, Virginia in 1760, when his son Thomas was born, and living in Brunswick County, Virginia in 1771/1774. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, North Dakota, Montana, California and elsewhere.

Roelof Cornelissen Van Houten (1628-1672) immigrated from Holland to New Netherlands in 1636/1637. He settled first at Rensselaerswyck (Albany, New York). He married twice and was the father of five children. He died at Bergan, New Jersey. Descendants lived in New Jersey, New York, and elsewhere. George Vane Moser was born July 24, 1906 in Union town, Pennsylvania. His parents were Charles Smith Moser (1871-1954) and Mary Adelaide Hurst (1871-1960). He married Mildred Payne Mowerson December 31, 1933 in Wyckoff, New Jersey. They were the parents of two children, George Vance Moser, Jr. (b. 1936) and John Archer Moser (v. 1939). Abraham Ockerman (d.1810) married Jane and they raised their family of eleven children in North Brunswick Twp., Middlesex Co., New Jersey. Their son Garline (d.1817) married Jane Combs in 1786 in Middlesex Co. and they were the parents of ten children. Mary Anna Mueller was born in Germany in 1839. She came with her family to America and settled in Wisconsin. She was married twice to Mr. Schaurer with whom she had two children and then after his death to Charles Lewis Rieck with whom she had seven children. Willem Wouterse and his wife, Jannetjie Jacobse, immigrated from The Netherlands to New Amsterdam, New York during or before 1665. Their children used the surname of Van Schuyven and (after various changes) Van Sciver, probably reflecting their parents origins in The Netherlands. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
