David Milton Albrecht was born 4 November 1917 in Fremont, Utah. His parents were Claude Milton Albrecht and LaPrele McKnight. He married Reva Hollingshead, daughter of Stephen Barton Hollingshead and Alta Lydia Marshall, 26 December 1939 in St. George, Utah. They had seven children. They were both educators. Johannes (John) Albrecht was born in 1695 in Germany. He married Anna Barbara in 1715 in Germany. Their son, Jacob (1727-1791/92), was born in Berks, Pennsylvania and married Sophia Catherine Welder in 1746. Both died in Orange, North Carolina.
