Warren M. Alderson (1819-1903) and Rachel Hatfield (1824-1909), both natives of West Virginia, were married in 1845. They had four children, 1851-1864, born in Logan County, West Virginia. The family migrated to Kentucky soon after 1873. He died at Salt Lick, Rowan County, Kentucky. Descendants lived in Kentucky and elsewhere.
