Susan Louisa Moir, daughter of Stratton Moir and Susan Louisa Mildern, was born in 1845 in Colombo, Ceylon. He family immgrated from England to British Columbia in 1860. She married John Fall Allison, son of Robert Allison and Sarah Briggs, in 1868. They had fourteen children.

Francis Buckwalter (ca.1665-1723) emigrated from Switzerland to Germany in 1710, and later immigrated to Chester County, Pennsylvania in 1720. John Edwin Buckwalter Sr. (1834-1870), a direct descendant and a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, moved to American Fork, Utah and married Susan Morris in 1863. Descendants of John Edwin lived in Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon and elsewhere.

William Herron (1766-1854) was born in Donegal, Ireland. He married Elizabeth Ann Moore about 1787. They came to America in 1804 and settled in Rich Hill Township, Muskingum County, Ohio. Elizabeth died about 1813, and William married Elizabeth Crow in 1815. Descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana and elsewhere.
