Eleazer Allyn (1755-1830), a Revolutionary War soldier, was born at Colchester, Connecticut, the son of Ichabod and Elizabeth Rogerts Allyn. He married Elizabeth Stark (1757-1834) in 1777 at Colchester. They had eight children, 1778-1797. The family lived in Connecticut, Vermona, Massachusetts, New York, and Ohio; then in 1816 migrated to Turkey Hill Township, St. Clair, Illinois. Eleazer and Elizabeth Allyn are buried at Shiloh, Illinois. Children...

Oliver Allyn Comstock, son of Oscar Fitzland Comstock (1832-1868) and Almira Sarah Allyn (1837-1869), was born in 1861 in Gales Ferry, Connecticut. After his parents' deaths, he was raised by his aunt, Temperance Allyn Maynard in Hartland Township, Pierce County, Wisconsin. He married Melissa Henrietta Sargent and they had one son. He married Mary Katheran Peters and they had three childen. He died in 1911 in Red Wing, Minnesota.

John Warham was born in 1595 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England. His parents were Richard Warham (1565-ca.1623) and Agnes alias Cook Hooper. He married Susana Golloppe 8 June 1625 in Stoke Abbott, Dorset, England. They had five children, none of whom survived to adulthood. They emigrated in 1630 and settled Windsor, Connecticut. William Whiting was one of the first settlers of Hartford, Conn. He came from England and is found in this country as early as 1632 or 1633. William was very prominent and respected. He was a major in the colonial forces, assistant and second colonial treasurer of Connecticut. William died July 1647. Susannah, his widow, married Samuel Fitch.
