Samuel Davis I (1610-1667) was born in either England or Wales and married Elizabeth Benton in 1637. In about 1642 they immigrated to America and settled in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. They were the parents of three children: Samuel Davis II (1638-1687), John Davis (1640-1688), and Arthur Davis I (1648-1718). Descendants live in North Carolina, California and other parts of the United States.

Henry Harper, son of Castleton Harper, was born in 1753. He married Judith Landrum, daughter of Thomas Landrum. They had ten children. They lived in Virginia. The Thomas Young bought Bellefield Plantation in Hobcaw Barony in 1794. William Algernon Alston owned the Friendfield and Marietta Plantations by 1847. James Seale, (1773-1864), son of Thomas Seale, was born in Fairfield District, South Carolina. He married Rachel Kelly and was living in Georgia in 1791. He later moved to Alabama ca. 1818 where he died in Butler County. Descendants lived in Texas, Alabama and elsewhere.
