Dr. Abbie A. Ledbetter (1844-1919) was born in Alabama, the son of William and Casandra S. Black Ledbetter. He graduated with a degree in medicine from Tulane University, New Orleans. He married Julia Guitella Denson (1852-1893) at Ludlow, Mississippi, in 1868. They had eleven children, 1870-1891. Alvis Anderson Bryan, son of Ernest Elmore Bryan and Lillian Estelle Anderson, was born 10 February 1916 in near Frederick, Oklahoma. He married Glenda Grace Qualls, daughter of Hugh Ben Qualls and Josephine Brown, in 1938 in Sweetwater, Texas. He was a minister in Texas and Vermont.
