Thomas Barnes was born in about 1615 in Essex, England. He emigrated in 1635 and settled in Farmington, Hartford, Connecticut. He married Mary in about 1649 and they had four children. He married Mary Andrus in about 1663 and they had two sons. Descendants and relatives lived in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, Kansas, South Dakota, Michigan and elsewhere.

Willems Crom lived in Pynacker, Holland. He married Maycke Hendricks in about 1646. They had three children. Willem died before 1656. Maycke married Jan Joosten Van Meteren. They had two children. They emigrated in 1662 and settled in Kingston, New York. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Illinois, Kentucky, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Texas, Tennessee and elsewhere.

William Bailey became a resident of Newport, Rhode Island soon after its settlement. He married Grace Parsons and they had six children. Tradition holds that William was a weaver of silk ribbon. He died before July, 1670. Descendants listed lived in Rhode Island, Ohio, Connecticut, and elsewhere. Includes the Andrews, Brown, Carpenter, Greene, and other related families.

John Williams (ca. 1745-1792) of Onslow County, North Carolina married Cloe Wilder, daughter of Hopkins Wilder, ca. 1768. She died ander 1804 in Duplin Co., North Carolina. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Texas and elsewhere.
