Lyman Barnes (1794-1885), son of William Barnes and a descendant in the sixth generation of Thomas Barnes, the immigrant, who was living at New Haven, Connecticut, by 1636, was probably born at Otis, Berkshire County, Massachusetts. Joseph Parsons was born in about 1618 in Devonshire, England. He emigrated in 1635 and settled in Springfield, Massachusetts. He married Mary Bliss 2 November 1646. They had thirteen children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maryland and Virginia.

Leon Jay Rogers was born in 1930 in Oregon to Layfatte Miller and Anna Jane Holden. At his birth, he was named Tolover Clarence Miller but later changed his name to Leon Jay Rogers. John Moffat was born in Scotland in 1816. He came to America about 1835 finally settling in Ohio. He became a teacher and later a minister. In 1840 he married Mary Ann McNeelan and they had four children. He later married Eleanor Kellog Carroll. Information on his descendants and other related lines of his family are included in this material. Descendants now live throughout the United States.

Walter Scott Wilson (1838-1918), a son of Benjamin Franklin Wilson and Mary Eliza Reddick, was born in North Carolina. He fought for the Confederacy in the Civil War, and in 1868 married Mary Frances Mitchell (1849-1899), a daughter of Robert R. Mitchell and Ann Hurd. They had twelve children. Many descendants live in the southeastern United States.

Levi Piggott, son of James Piggott and Elliner, was born in about 1762 in Connecticut. He married Eleanor Rebecca in about 1790. They had six children. He died in 1835 in Ridge Prairie, Illinois. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Illinois, Ohio, South Dakota and California.
