Description
George Bruce (1660-1732) emigrated from Scotland in 1678. His descendant, John M. Bruce, was born in 1804, the son of John Bruce, Jr. He married Elizabeth Barnhill in Carroll County, Ohio. They had six children. The family moved to Warrick County, Indiana, ca. 1847. He died in Indiana in 1880. Descendants listed lived in Indiana, Illinois, and elsewhere.
Includes the Angle, Barr, Cain, Day, Kirby, Skelton, and other allied families.

Adam Overpeck was born 15 April 1784 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Mann (1786-1859) 27 August 1808. They had six children. He married Mary Blocher (1809-1879), a widow with ten children, in 1860. He died in 1878 in Herrickville, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio.
