Description
Joseph Ware of Monmouthshire, Wales, immigrated to America in 1675 as a member of John Fenwick's Coloney, most of whom were Quakers. They settled in southwestern New Jersey. He married twice and was the father of five children. He died in Salem County, New Jersey, in 1711. Descendants listed lived in New Jersey, Forida, and elsewhere. Early generations follow male lines only.

He married twice and was the father of five children. Record gives some descendants to the ninth generation. Few locality names given for descendants.
