David Lemon (1799/1800-1860/1867) emigrated to England to Brown County, Ohio and married Jane Mayfield in 1826. They lived in Ripley, Ohio and had seven children. Thomas Applegate immigrated to Massachusetts Bay Colony in or before 1635. He went to Rhode Island, then to New Amsterdam (now New York City), and later to Flushing, L. I. He and his wife, Elizabeth had at least four children. Descendants lived in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Colorado, Oregon and elsewhere.

Henry Cline Crecelius was born in about 1797 in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. His parents were John Godhard Crecelius and Elizabeth Ann Ausmus. He married Laura Hines Sharp in 1824 in Harrison County, Indiana. They had twelve children. The family moved to Meade County, Kentucky in about 1831.
