John Pound (1668-1690) was born in England. He was residing in New Jersey by 1686. He died in Piscataway, Middlesex County, New Jersey. Descendants live in Indiana, South Dakota, Texas, Kentucky, Connecticut and elsewhere. Earliest ancestor of the Stark family was Aaron Stark, who born 1608 in Windsor, Connecticut, and died 1685 in Groton, New London County, Connecticut. He married Mary Holt.

Anthony Lindsay, Sr. (1736-1808) married Rachel Ann Dorsey (ca. 1738- 1805) in Maryland in 1756. They settled in Baltimore County, Maryland but moved to Frederick County in 1774. "Michael Horine, b. 175_ d. 1810, son of Frederick Horine I. (1) (b. 1715 d. 17__) was born in one of the German provinces bordering on the River Rhine. He with his two brothers, Jacob and George and two sisters came to America in the early 1770's. They are said to have landed in Baltimore and were supposed to have lived there for a time in Maryland (probably in Frederick County, where an earlier family of Horines had settled about 25 years before)....
