Description
"If the first volume of "The Pioneers and their Sons" deals more with the pioneers themselves, rather than their sons, this one will speak more of their sons than their fathers. The former covered the period of settlement of the prairies of North Dakota within the limits of a few southwestern counties, especially Stark County, around Dickinson, their hardships and endurance, their success and failure."-- foreward.
