Cecil Edward Osborne, son of James A. Garfield Osborne (1880-1920) and Cora Belle Arthur, was born in 1921 in Jackson, Ohio. He married and Iva May Artz in 1938. They had seven children. The Artz and Yohn families are tied together with the marriage of Charles Clinton Artz and Ethel May Yohn.

Johannes Schwalm (1749-1834), one of the Hessian soldiers contracted for by George III to fight American revolutionists during the Revolutionary War, was imprisoned twice by the Americans, and remained in the United States when the war was over. He married Margaret Resh in 1785 and settled in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in most of the United States.

Johan Philip Braun (1697-1767), son of Johann Jost Braun, was born in Udenheim, Hessen, Germany. He immigrated to New York in 1709 with his family. He later settled in Pennsylvania. His wife, Elisabeth Magdalena Losch (1699-1763), was the daughter of John Balthaser Losch and Susanna Phillippina Gerina. Johannes Jacob Peter Batdorf was born about 1671 in Baden, Darmstadt, Germany and died 1709 in London, England. He married Anna Maria Catharina Herber before 1692 in Switzerland or Germany. She was born 1677 in Germany and died 14 January 1749 in Milbach, Lebanon, Pennsylvania. They had three children. Descendants have lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Maryland and New York.

John Look, son of Wilhelm Look (1738-1803) and Johanna Bastians (1756-1809), was born in 1787 in Hau, Germany. He fought in Napolean's army. He married Gertrude Angenendt, daughter of Theodor Angenendt and Allegonda Vulling, in 1815 in Pfalzdorf, Germany. They had eight children. They emigrated in 1850 and settled in Michigan.
