Zedekiah South (1755-1835) was born in East Windsor Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey, and served in the Revolutionary War. He married Mary McCabe about 1784, and moved to land in Montgomery County, New York. Isaac (?) Ballard had three sons: Benjamin (1743-1823), Ezekiel (1746-1821) and Jonathan (1746-1821). Descendants of the three sons moved to Minnesota, where there were several marriages to South individuals in the middle and late 1800s....

Carl Julius Carlson, son of Charles John August Carlson (1856-1928) and Emma Elizabeth Lundgren, was born in 1891 in Hepburn, Iowa. He married Blanche Mae Stinemates, daughter of James Finley Stinemates and Eliza Alice Smith, in 1916 in Red Oak, Iowa. They had four children. He died in 1985 in Roswell, New Mexico.

Henry Wettling Sr. (1785-1861) was born in Neiderbachdorf, Germany He and his wife, Dorthea (1783-1858), immigrated to New York in 1828. They later moved to Clarion County, Pennsylvania. Some descendants changed name to "Whitling". Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, California, Ohio, and related families.
