Charles Nye Ashman (1880-1929), son of English immigrants John Thomas Ashman and Elizabeth Ann Steele, was born at Duckwater, Nye County, Nevada. He moved to Garrison, Utah, married Fanny Dearden, and later moved to Fillmore, Utah. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived in England, Nevada, Utah and elsewhere.

Thomas Flewelling, son of Thomas(?) Flewelling and Hannah Ashman, was born in 1673 in New York. He married Hannah Smith, daughter of William Smith and Hannah Scudder, about 1693. They had nine children. Thomas and Hannah's dates of death are not listed. Their descendants have lived in New York, Canada, Michigan, California, and other areas in the United States.

John Chenoweth immigrated in 1720 from Wales to Baltimore County, Maryland, and married a Miss Calvert, daughter of Charles Calvert, the third Lord Baltimore. He married Fannie Dearden, daughter of Thomas and Charlotte Davies Dearden, on 27 May 1903. Fannie was born 10 December 1885 in Fillmore, Utah. Charles died 5 May 1929 in Fillmore, Utah. Fannie died 6 June 1965 in Fillmore, Utah. The family lived mainly in Utah.

Bernard Hermann Heinrich Forsthoff (1825-1893) was born at Altensburg or Oldensburg, Nordwalde, Germany, the son of Bernard and Gertrudis Sibilla Laumann Vorsthoven. He and his wife, Therese, immigrated to the United States in 1851 and settled in Hamilton County, Ohio, later moving to a farm in Granville Township, Mercer County, Ohio. David Gregg, born ca. 1685 in Ireland, believed to be the son of John Gregg. He emigrated to America about 1722 and settled at windham, New Hampshire. He married in Ireland Mary Nevins (or Evans), and by her had eight children, one died on the voyage to America.
