John Aurandt (b.1725), son of Huguenots (of French lineage) Henry Aurandt and Anna Christina Hoff, emigrated in 1753 from Germany to Tulpehocken, near Reading, Pennsylvania. In 1772 he moved to Northumberland (later Union) County, Pennsylvania, and married twice. Johannes Aurandt (b.1725) immigrated to Philadelphia from the Palatinate via Rotterdam in 1753 with his wife, Anna Christina and four children. They settled in Cumberland County, Penn. where four more children were born, Christina died and Johannes married again. Includes the lineage of the author, lecturer and radio commentator of ABC news, "Paul Harvey", (born, Paul Harvey Aurandt). Includes some family history and genealogy to 1550.
