Nathaniel Everett (1678-1749) moved to Morratock, Cowan Precinct (later County), North Carolina in 1683. His son, John Everett or Everitt (1743-1820), married Sarah Fagan about 1772, served in the Revolutionary War, and lived in Tyrrell County, North Carolina.
