Description
Peter Miller was born in 1850. He married Helen Ruscheinsky in Krasna, Bessarabia. They had three children. He married Agnes Schreiner in about 1884. They emigrated in 1894 and settled in North Dakota.

The earliest known ancestor was Johannes Tschischmak (1813-1898) who was born and lived all of his life in Krasna, Bessarabia, Russia. He was the father of at least three sons. One of his descendants married into the Bachmeier family which also came from Krasna. Both families emigrated from Russia to North Dakota. Descendants live in North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota and other parts of the United States.

Jacob Schilie or Schiele was born in 1802 in Ubstadt, Baden, Germany. His parents were Andreas Schilli (1771-1852) and Sabine Wiedeman (1777-1852). He married Maria Eva Deis or Thies, daughter of Franz Deis, 23 January 1827 in Mannheim, Kutschurgan, New Russia. They had eight children. Some of their children emigrated and settled in North Dakota.
