Christian Myers Kuhns, son of Daniel Kuhns (1814-1887) and Susan Myers (1818-1864), was born 20 December 1853. He married Maria S. Burkholder (1855-1936), daughter of Joseph Burkholder and Barbara Sollenberger, in 1855. They had nine children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania.
