Stephen Minot Weld, Jr. (1842-1920) was born at Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, the son of Stephen M. Weld (1806-1867) and Sarah B. Balch Weld (1817-1854). He graduated from Harvard in 1860 and at the beginning of the Civil War left Harvard Law School and joined the Massachusetts Volunteers as a 2nd lieutenant. John Leach was born between 1625 and 1635 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He married Alicia Ireland in 1661. They had five children. He died in 1699 in Calvert, Maryland.

Sands Stanley was born before 1741. He married Zilpha Edwards, ca. 1759, in Dobbs (now Craven) County, North Carolina. All their children were born there. The family moved about 7 miles west of Darlington, Cheraw District, South Carolina. Sands died on 19 Nov. 1799. Simon Huntington (1583-1633) was born in England (perhaps in Hempstead). He married twice, and immigrated in 1633 with his second wife, Margaret Huntington, to Roxbury, Massachusetts. He died at sea, and she married Thomas Stoughton in 1635/1636 and settled in Windsor, Connecticut. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Washington, California and elsewhere.

John Ogden was born in Bradley Plain, Hampshire, England, 19 Sept. 1609. He married Jane Bond, daughter of Jonathan Bond, 8 May 1637 in Bradley Plain. Their three oldest children were born in England. He and his family emigrated to America settling at Southampton, Long Island in 1640.
