Winifred Lucille Palmer was born in 1909 in Massachusetts. She married William A. Brachvogel and they were the parents of at least one daughter. They lived in New York for many years and she worked on genealogy both for her family lines and for other people. Materials she collected are included in this collection.

Jonas Cutler Baldwin was born in 1768 in Windsor, Massachusetts, and married Eliza Warner in 1792. They moved to Ovid, New York, and then later to Lysander, New York. He developed the Baldwin canal, and named the area alongside Baldwinsville. He died in Lysander in 1827.
