Mildred Francom was born in Utah in 1917. She married Richard Bales and after his death, Ferron Pickering. She had three children. Her family were early settlers of Payson, Utah, but she lived in both Utah and Nevada. Information on her descendants and her various ancestral lines back into England is given in this volume.

Frederick William Jones was born 7 Oct 1842 in Appledore, Devon, England. He immigrated to the United States with his family about 1856. He married Ellen Marshall and they had six children. Ellen died in 1888 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Frederick married Eliza Jane Baker in June 1874 and they had eight children. Frederick also married Julia Cox and had one child.
