Description
The earliest known ancestor, John Beales, was born in England in 1650, and immigrated to America in 1675 settling in Salem, New Jersey. He came on the ship Griffin. Two years later in 1677 his name appears on the tax books of what is now Delaware Co., Pennsylvania, as a farmer. He died in East Nottingham, Maryland in 1726.

Annis Bales was born in Missouri in 1906. She was the fourth of five children, one of whom (a older brother) died as an infant. Her family later moved to Kansas and her father spent the last part of his life homesteading in Colorado. She and her sister never married and her brothers only had three children. Information in these volumes concern her family and several of her ancestral lines.

Description
Lulu Robinson (1864-1950) is a descendant of the Reverend John Robinson (1575-1614) of Sturton, England and Leyden, Holland, minister to the separatists who, at the Reverend's urging, formed the Mayflower Colony. Lulu married Joseph Siers McCall at Hopkinsville, Texas in 1883; their descendants, who include the Bales, Lancaster, and Olds families, have lived primarily in Texas.

Ruby May Robb was born 4 June 1925 in Wapato, Washington and died 28 December 1997 in Edmonds, Washington. Her parents were Clarence Edward Ropp (1887-1958) and Gertrude Geneva Inskeep (b. 1898). She married Earl Leonard Marquardt, son of Gustav Marquardt and Ella Jahnke, 1 November 1942. They had two children. Fraternal ancestors and relatives have lived mainly in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Arizona, California and Kansas.
